Last week, my freshly-turned-sixteen-year-old daughter and her
friends held me hostage for five hours in the local mall
while they flitted about, sipping bubble teas and trying on
Homecoming dresses. Normally, the mall is my mother ship, but
that's when I can feel free to leave whenever I want because my own
car is parked in the lot. That's also when times are normal and
perfume testers are available for free sniffing on department store
counters.
I had to wait over an hour (more than one-fifth the time of my
forced incarceration, I'd like to point out) in line to have my
brows threaded, so I walked two doors down to the Macy's perfume
counter to sniff the aforementioned testers while subsequently
keeping an eye on the brow line. Apparently, alcohol-based perfume
bottles are still not allowed out on Macy's counters. Feeling
thwarted, I was forced to buy a pair of dangly earrings from the
clearance rack instead.
A visit to Bath & Body Works was definitely on my to-do list, as
a friend of mine has Rose Water & Ivy, and I wanted to purchase it
because I really like it. (A decent rose fragrance is hard to find,
in my opinion, so when I find one that appeals to me, I must have
it!) They didn't have it (naturally), so I was forced to smell the
new offerings...twist my arm, right?!
Porno kostenlos party smells yellow, just as one would expect. It
smelled too dry and "un-luscious" to me (which I expected more of,
considering it contains vanilla). I wasn't especially turned on by
it, so I sauntered over to the autumn scents. I still have
Christie ricci nude from last year, but I bought it again in a
shower gel.

Estalla warren nude is a "my skin but better" fuzzy little
concoction, and it's my favorite (by far) of these two in this
article. It doesn't have a lot a projection, but it does last
pretty much all day. It's not overly sweet, but it doesn't smell
like a bonfire, either, which is a good thing because frankly, the
name is a little scary. I guess it's a rhyming thing because I
think of the Monster Mash when I read its name. If that's
their intention, it worked. If not, I know how I smell after a
hayride and bonfire (i.e. smoky), and that's not how this
particular lady wishes to smell! In short, the name doesn't fit, in
my opinion.
It's a lightly sweet and boozy vanilla at the top, eventually
becoming creamy and grounded by the sandalwood in the heart. It's a
soft sandalwood, not the rough, scratchy kind that can be
encountered in some mass-market fragrances, which is a pleasant
surprise. The cashmere musk completes the "better than skin" effect
in the far drydown. It's nothing earth-shattering, as many of this
brand's scents aren't, but it does smell really, really good as a
wafting, background kind of fragrance. I'd wear it all year 'round;
it would be especially soothing and comforting worn to bed, which
will be my main use for it, if I'm honest. I plan to return and
purchase the accompanying body cream.

Nude famke janssen is expected to be a big hit, judging by the
assortment of products in the range (including a shimmer mist). It
does smell really good! It's fruity and lightly tropical, but it
also has that smooth, resinous drydown that fits in quite well with
fall weather; otherwise, I see this as a summer scent.
The cherry isn't sour, nor is it too sweet and synthetic; it's
just right, and the cherry lasts a long time for a top note of a
mere fragrance mist. I like the addition of coconut with it, but
it's by no means a suntan-type fragrance. It's just a pretty
fruity-floral that will likely be mass-appealing among the 13-30
year old age set. (Yes, I realize that I'm an outlier, but
sometimes a lady just wants to recall those fun, carefree years of
her youth...What I actually want to say is that it reminds me of
Kool-Aid!) It projects moderately and lasts all day. Again, it's
nothing super complex or groundbreaking, but it is pleasant and
"plays well with others."
